PLEASE HELP! Instrumental person teaching choir!

I'm in a new position teaching HS Choir. Problem is, I was an instrumental major in college. I have performed in choir since I was in the second grade, including during college. (I'm not a complete hack) :)
The problem I'm running into is the choir I have inherited is a Class C (in Ohio) choir, and my most recent choral experience is assisting at the collegiate level. I am struggling with teaching the choir new songs. They have zero sight singing skills. Any suggestions on how to teach new songs?!?!?! Obviously, we are working on improving our sight singing skills. But I need to be teaching new material for the fall concert!
Please help! I feel overwhelmed and desperate :)
