OOP Pieces by Dett and ElmoreDate: December 1, 2011 by Alan Rothenberg  Views: 1550
I'm trying to locate performance materials for two cantatas formerly published by J. Fischer and Brother. The rights for these are now held by Alfred (tip of the baton to Frank Albinder for giving me that info). Alfred says both pieces are permanently out of print and they do not have copies in their archives. Before I start checking with the Library of Congress, I wanted to ask the collective Choralist wisdom.
The pieces are:
- R. Nathaniel Dett - "The Ordering of Moses"
- Robert Elmore - "The Cross"

African American Art Song Alliance page on FaceBook.
I am sure that someone in your area will answer your request and share with you.

The Alfred rental dept has a listing for the orchestra material for the Dett. Contact them to see if they have choral copies.
