The East York Choir presents Season Songs

THE EAST YORK CHOIR  will present Season Songs on Sunday, December 5, 2010 at 3:30 pm, at Eastminster United Church, 310 Danforth Ave. (at Jackman Ave., just W.of Chester subway). 

 Celebrate the season with an eclectic mix of Early music, carols, gospel, jazz & world music. 

 Artistic Director: Jenny Crober; Accompanist: Elizabeth Acker 

 Our special guests will be Quisha Wint (gospel/R&B vocalist), Charlie Roby (guitar, mandolin), and Ray Dillard (percussion, drums). 

Several selections will feature soloists from our choir, including Martin Houtman, Bryan Estabrooks, Tom Roedding, Lindy Pinto and Jenny Sardone.

 Our repeat performance of Jenny Crober’s choral arrangement of Zachary Richard’s poignant, Acadian-themed Dans le Nord Canadien will feature Chi Chi Godin, vocalist, with Charlie Roby, guitar, and Ray Dillard, percussion. 

 There will be a raffle of several gift baskets at intermission.
