The Toronto Mendelssohn Choir presents a Singsation Saturday choral workshop on September 26

Singsation Saturdays are choral workshops presented by the TMC where anyone who loves to sing is invited to join with noted local conductors, TMC choristers and other singers to learn about and sing some of the great choral masterpieces. Musical scores are available for singers to borrow during the workshop.
Saturday, September 26, 2009: Handel’s Israel in Egypt with TMC Assistant Conductor Ross Inglis
Participants will sing from, and learn about, one of Handel’s most exciting oratorios, Israel in Egypt. Handel’s dramatic composition tells the biblical story of the plagues sent by God to the Egyptians and the flight of the Israelites from bondage. Singers will be led by Ross Inglis, Assistant Conductor of the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir and Music Director of Knox United Church in Agincourt.
Time: Saturday, September 26 from 10:30 am - 1 pm
Location: Christ Church Deer Park, Elliott Hall, 1570 Yonge St, Toronto (use the Heath St. Entrance)
Price: $10, includes refreshments
