As part of our innovative Joan and Geoffrey Riggs Bach Cantata series, Mark Vuorinen offers an insightful analysis of the melodies and meaning of Bach’s gorgeous cantata, “Nach dir, Herr, verlanget mich.” The choir presents a full performance with period orchestra and soloists.
Also on the program is Buxtehude's Ciaconna for tenor and 2 violins, Quemadmodum desiderat cervus.
