School ban on religious-based tunes defies history and common sense
School administrators and their elected directors have a tough job.
It is their responsibility to see that the schools operate effectively,
efficiently, economically and in a manner consistent with common sense.
It is that last part that bothers us about the "problem" raised by a
recent Camp Hill school chorus presentation and how school officials
went about addressing it.
Was it really good common sense to throw the wet blanket of cultural
caution on the joyful noise of the district
