Pacific Boychoir Presents The Sound of Vienna, April 26 in San Francisco

Location: California, USA
Choir type: Children's and Youth Choirs
Voicing: Children
You need not travel to Europe to hear a fine boys choir and orchestra performing music from the city of musicians. The Grammy award-winning Pacific Boychoir Academy presents The Sound of Vienna, a concert of choral music from the Classical era, sung with the unique and rich sound of men and boys, accompanied by orchestra. Haydn's Missa Sancti Bernardi von Offida (Heiligmesse), Mozart's Te Deum, and Beethoven's Choral Fantasy will be sung in their entirety. Also enjoy Strauss waltzes for treble voices, and Schubert's Ständchen for alto solo, four-part men's voices, and piano.

We join forces with the exuberant Magik*Magik Orchestra and pianist Miles Graber for this concert. PBA has often performed Classical masses with orchestras overseas, but this is a first for the USA.
