THE MISSISSIPPI COLLEGE SINGERS
The Mississippi College Singers is a mixed-voice, auditioned ensemble that is the premier choral group of the department of music. Presenting a diverse repertoire of accompanied and unaccompanied literature, this choir has performed throughout the United States, including Washington National Cathedral, Carnegie Hall, and Lincoln Center, as well as internationally in England, Italy, Slovenia, Germany, Austria, and the Republic of South Africa. Past invitational performances include feature concerts at Mississippi Day at the Washington National Cathedral in 2003, five Mississippi state conferences of ACDA and NafME, the 2004 and 2008 Southern ACDA Division Conferences, and the 2005 ACDA National Conference in Los Angeles.
