Sherwood Chorale

Category: Community Choirs
Voicing: Mixed
Location: Sherwood, Oregon, USA
The Sherwood Chorale is an auditioned SATB choir made up of adults of all ages, and a select few high school students and is part of the Voices for the Performing Arts family of choirs. They sing a variety of music including pop, Broadway, jazz, art and folks songs, spirituals, and sacred and secular music from many eras.  The Chorale is featured in 2 benefit concerts for the Voices for the Performing Arts foundation in December and May of each year.  They rehearse Thursday evenings from September through December and February through May.  Most members have sung in many previous choirs including high school, college and community choirs. Over the years, the choir has become an extended family of friends, and is a welcome place for new singers who are looking for a fun, challenging and very musical experience like they had “way back when…”!
