Easter Music for Children

Does anyone know of an easy short musical play, pageant or set of songs for children to perform at an Easter Service? I've just been asked by a parishioner to find music for children in the congregation to  perform at Easter which is a short time away. This needs to be really easy and if it has a performance or accompaniment cd, that would be preferable. There is no children's choir at this church so we are gathering children together for this and the singers will be very inexperienced. Any easy suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

If you go to, you can find everything you need.  We have used a lot of their material - it is inexpensive and there is a wide range of choice as far as length of play/musical and number of kids needed and ages of children that the play is appropriate for.  You can order preview copies and/or see a short excerpt on line as well.
Hope this helps.

Hello Patricia
I've had five children's Easter musicals published, which are used by hundreds of churches and schools. They are simple, fun and celebratory, as well - obviously - as poignant. Each has an optional short play or can be accompanied by readings (with or without corresponding drama). They're suitable for children of all ages, or families, and each comes with the backing tracks on CD as well as the songs. They encompass a variety of musical styles. You can take a look at them on our website (use the Easter drop-down menu), and you can listen to excerpts and see sample pages there too. Your children can also download the songs from iTunes for the first three below, which usually means they know them all off by heart the next time you see them (and so do their long-suffering parents) :)
The easiest Easter musical is called 'Here comes Jesus!', ideal if you have mostly 7s and under; then 'Easter Praise!' and 'Easter Children', ideal if you have, say, 6-11s, and finally 'Resurrection Rock!' which is especially good if you have mostly over 8s, or a mix which includes teenagers.
With best wishes to you and for your event, Sheila.
PS: Here's a video link to school children performing 'Resurrection Rock!' in San Antonio.
